Ethiopian-flavoured Easter.

When Rob was in Ethiopia in October, he bought some traditional clothes for the kids and it was finally time to unveil them. Thankfully the Ethiopian seamstress left about 6 inches in the bodice of the dress for me to be able to get them taken out when he got them home. These kids looked so stellar on Easter Sunday morning it was ridiculous. New shoes came courtesy of Nana - check out the silver sandals that Ruthie chose. She loves her fashion to make a statement, that's for sure!

I wish we could do this every year, an Ethiopian outfit for Easter - it is just so beautiful and unique.

And, the highlight of the Easter service (and the perk of being the music pastor!), Shay made her singing debut. SO excellent. I had no idea what she would do - would she cry, forget the words, freeze? Nope, she did it just like we practiced, maybe a little more timidly, but still, she nailed it!
